Storage is a configurable option. Actual retention depends on camera bitrate, resolution, codec, recording mode and the retention period you need — the baselines above are starting configurations, not a retention promise.
Response hardware — sirens, speakers, lights and I/O — is site specific and priced to the configuration selected, rather than as one universal kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly am I paying per camera for?
The AI software running on that camera stream — the capabilities in your tier, the alerts and evidence they produce, model updates within the tier, business-hours support, the appliance warranty and advance replacement while you are subscribed. The appliance itself and setup are separate one-time costs.
Do I pay for cameras that are only recording?
The subscription is per camera running AI. Talk to us about sites where only part of the estate needs analytics — that is a common configuration and it changes the number.
What does setup cost?
A one-time fee based on the site assessment and what the deployment actually needs — camera count, network work, mounting, response hardware and configuration. We quote it after the assessment rather than guessing.
What if our cameras do not qualify?
Then we tell you which ones, and why. Camera replacement is $0 where your existing cameras are retained; where a location genuinely cannot support detection, replacing that camera is a line item you can see and decide on.
Can we change tier later?
Yes. Tiers are about which capabilities are enabled, not different hardware, so moving up is a configuration and billing change rather than a redeployment.
Why is weapon detection Advanced only?
Because threat detection carries higher operational and liability consequences when it produces a false positive or misses an event. It is offered on qualified deployments, after site-specific validation and testing — not enabled by default because someone bought a tier.
AI surveillance and analytics are technology-assisted and do not guarantee prevention or detection of every security incident or 100% accuracy.
