Frequently Asked Questions
Does fire detection replace our fire alarm system?
No. It is an additional visual layer that watches for visible flame and smoke in the camera view, which matters in high bays, open yards and parking where heat and smoke take time to reach a detector. It is not a listed fire-detection device and does not replace your panel.
Can it run on our existing industrial cameras?
Usually. Supported IP and RTSP cameras come onto the appliance whatever the brand or generation. Mixed estates across several generations are normal on plants and are not a problem in themselves.
Will alerts reach the floor, not just a phone?
Where speakers, horns and lights are installed and your safety rules permit, yes. A common configuration is a local voice warning in the area, the light in that area, and a silent alert plus clip to the desk.
How disruptive is deployment?
Where cameras and cabling exist and are compatible, very little — the work is assessment, appliance, configuration and tuning. Anything needing new cabling is phased around your production schedule at design stage.
